Asakusa, Tokyo.

It's been a long week so far.
There has been a lot of Japanese food consumed over the last couple of days and a lot of miles walked.
Today we spent the day in Asakusa walking up and down the stalls and checking out the Temple.

After that, we took a the river cruise down the Sumida River. We had a great view of the Asahi Beer Tower with it's Asahi 'flame' statue on top. Some people think the statue looks like a sweet potato and others think it looks like ... well, other things. Because it was such a clear day out, we saw the Tokyo Sky Tree in all it's glory. The Tokyo Sky Tree is the tallest tower in the WORLD.

The cruise dropped us off at the Hamarikyu Gardens. We walked through the serene park before ending the day doing some shopping in Ginza.
